Gain access to unique data for analysis and decision making

Spatial bioanalysis and biology are solutions to help generate unique data that will help optimize strategic decisions and understand drug exposure at the site of action and the impact to the microenvironment. Adopting spatial bioanalysis and biology into your strategy early on, can help you save money and time in the long run.

Our spatial services provide deeper information about the efficacy of your drug or the relevance of biomarkers.

Aliri offers unique spatial services to study the distribution and concentration of drugs and/or biomarkers simultaneously in plasma, tissues, and cells. We can measure the impact of drugs early in vivo stage to support lead selection and validate mechanism of action (MOA). This is critical for translational research and early clinical stage to validate the drug bioavailability, penetration, and on target accumulation. Our additional solutions include, PD evaluation, phenotyping, pathway evaluation, and patient stratification.

Mass Spectrometry Imaging

Aliri has the been the first CRO to offer MSI services from 2009 and is today the leader CRO in the world on the spatial bioanalysis services.

Mass Spectrometry Imaging (MSI) has had a remarkable game changer in the pharmaceutical industry, evolving from imaging analysis to cutting-edge quantitative imaging solutions for elements, small molecules and large molecules. Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization (MALDI) and LA-ICP imaging (Laser Ablation-Inductively Coupled Plasma) MS has emerged as advanced techniques, allowing for simultaneous detection and quantification of drugs and biomarkers in tissue sections without the need for labeling.

MSI is an ideal tool to measure and quantify drug penetration in tissues and cells and its impact on biomarker activation or pathway inhibition as it enables tracking of administered drugs and metabolites that arise from assimilation, offering valuable insights into drug behavior within the body.

At Aliri, we developed unique proprietary methodologies (through 50 patents) to providing you with state-of-the-art spatial bioanalysis solutions. Our platforms ensure you have the tools, expertise, and data needed to gain the spatial insights to transform your research and bring safe and effective drugs to market.

Multiplex Single Cell Imaging

Spatial Proteomics and Therapeutics

Hyperion Imaging System (Standard Biotools), powered by Imaging Mass Cytometry technology, is at the forefront of high multiplex immuno-staining techniques. This approach uses antibodies, coupled with stable metal isotopes, and allows for advanced insights into tissue composition through the 40+ markers visualization.

As each metal isotope possesses its unique detection peak, thus eliminating interference between markers. This results in almost zero background noise, ensuring optimal contrast and sensitivity for precise imaging analysis.

At Aliri, we developed methodologies to visualize and quantify proteins and therapeutic proteins at cellular level to better measure the drug penetration, accumulation in cells, and its impact onto the biomarkers. Our developments and proprietary approaches allow to obtain deep analysis of drug response, phenotype reshaping, TME (Tissue Micro-Environment), all the necessary information to predict the patient drug response in animal and human biopsies.

Spatial Transcriptomics

In addition to advanced protein imaging services, Aliri offers a comprehensive range of single-cell transcriptomics techniques. These services leverage cutting-edge technologies such as Nanostring GeoMx and 10x Genomics Visium, which are paired with next-generation sequencing (NGS). These methods that enable the analysis of thousands of RNAs (up to 18,000) combine high-plex and high-throughput spatial profiling offering a broad perspective on drug efficacy and patient responses to treatments.

This distinctive combination allows scientists to swiftly and quantitatively evaluate the biological consequences of variability in tissue samples, enhancing the efficiency of their drug development process.
