Our Leadership

Kent Payne, PhD

Chief Executive Officer

Kent Payne, Ph.D, is distinguished as a business operator and leader in areas of sales, commercial manufacturing and product development. He has extensive executive experience in M&A as well as successfully running, start up, growth and turn around businesses. This includes both Fortune 500 and Private Equity environments. Kent combines strong business leadership, successful P&L track record, and technical background to strategically lead and grow enterprise value across biotechnology and pharmaceutical market segments from discovery through cGMP commercial manufacturing. In addition to the U.S., he has successfully led the geographic expansion of businesses into Asia, South America and Europe. Kent recently served as CEO for BioDuro-Sundia. He held prior roles at Qualicaps, Catalent Pharma Solutions, Cardinal Health and Novartis.

Jim Wilfahrt

Chief Operating Officer

Jim Wilfahrt, Chief Operating Officer, began his career in the Bioanalytical CRO industry in 1994 with the founding of Tandem Labs. Following the successful establishment of Tandem Labs as a Best-in-Class Bioanalytical CRO provider, Tandem Labs was acquired by Laboratory Corporation of America. Jim continued in his role as General Manager for Tandem Labs operations and LabCorp Vice President through 2016, at which time he assumed the role of Global Head, Bioanalytical for Covance. Jim joined Pyxant Labs as President in 2020 and became Chief Operating Officer in 2022.

Sylvain Chabanier

Chief Financial Officer

Following his graduation from ESCP Europe in 2007, Sylvain started an investment banker career in Mergers & Acquisitions department at Lazard. In 2014, Sylvain joined Sodexo global headquarters in France as an M&A Project Manager, covering various service lines within multiple geographies. In 2019, Sylvain was appointed Europe CFO for Entegra, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sodexo specialized in Procurement services. Sylvain joined Aliri in May 2022 as Group CFO. Sylvain lives in Paris area. He is married and has two daughters.
Dawn Moore

Sr. VP of Business Development

With over 24 years of experience in Pharmaceutical R&D and Contract Research Business Development, Dawn has a proven track record of driving strategic growth while building strong teams and successful partnerships in the life sciences industry. She leads the company’s business development strategies, focusing on expanding partnerships, driving growth, and furthering Aliri’s mission to support our customers in bringing life-saving therapies to market with speed and agility.
