LC-Fluorescence (LC-FD) is a platform used to analyze antisense oligonucleotides that have been hybridized to a complimentary strand containing a fluorescence probe. It achieves high sensitivity with a small aliquot, with specificity that increases with the size of the molecule.
The approach is much like ELISA, but with a chromatographic entity to improve specificity. Sub-nanogram LLOQs can be achieved with as little as a 20 µL sample aliquot.
